# GraspIT

> GraspIT is a learning platform for software engineers. It teaches data structures and algorithms, system design, and how real systems such as Kafka, Cassandra and Kubernetes work inside, through narrated, animated lessons. Learners then practise on coding problems, each with a step-by-step explanation of every approach.

Lessons, problems and explanations are only available to signed-in users (sign-in is with Google), so their content is not served to anonymous visitors or crawlers. The pages below are public.

## Public pages

- [Home](https://graspit.dev/): what GraspIT teaches and how a lesson works
- [Sign in](https://graspit.dev/login): create an account or sign in with Google

## What a learner gets

- Study plans that go from the first idea of a topic to its hardest problems, with a narrated, animated lesson for each part
- Tracks on system design and on the internals of real systems
- Coding problems in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, C++, C, C#, Go, Ruby, PHP and Lua, with hints
- An explanation for every problem: why the slow approach fails, the idea that fixes it, a walkthrough on the example and the trap to avoid
- Progress, submissions and code saved to the account and resumed on any device

## Notes for agents

- The site is a single-page app; pages need JavaScript to render.
- `/api/*` is a private API for the app itself and is not meant for automated use.
